Inverness-headquartered Be Personnel - one of Scotland’s most successful and innovative recruitment businesses covering the Food Processing, Commercial, Industrial and Driving sectors - has announced it has been awarded a major sole supply contract by Mowi, the world’s largest supplier of farm-raised salmon. Be Personnel beat off competition from a number of multi-national recruitment agencies to win the two-year contract - the biggest in the firm’s history - to exclusively supply ‘temporary-to-contract’ personnel to Mowi Consumer Products at their Rosyth fish processing facility.
Be Personnel will deliver the Mowi contract from an on-site office at the fish farming giant’s Rosyth, Fife base, employing a full-time team of three. It will recruit on an exclusive basis for temporary roles across the production, hygiene, and warehouse departments, as well as supporting Mowi with recruiting for permanent roles.
Mowi employs approximately 1,000 people at Rosyth during peak production periods, with the facility being the single largest salmon processing plant in the UK. The state-of-the-art factory produces over a quarter of a million healthy meals each week.
The contract award consolidates Be Personnel’s presence in the central belt. It is also an endorsement of a seven-year relationship that the recruiter has enjoyed with Mowi.
