To ensure our dedication, we provide comprehensive training to our staff, enabling them to recognise and address potential instances of slavery. Furthermore, we equip our workers with information on how to identify different forms of slavery and where to seek help if needed.
For instance, before interviewing any applicants, our consultants sign the Stronger Together Recruiter Compliance Principles. Throughout the interview process, our consultants and resourcers actively look for signs of forced labour and hidden labour exploitation, both visually and through effective questioning.
We also have a Stronger Together worker questionnaire that new starters complete, gathering information about their awareness of Be Personnel and the vacancy, ensuring no recruitment fees were paid, and confirming their accommodation is not provided by a staff member.
Our Administrative and Payroll function conducts secondary reviews of new starter documentation uploaded to our internal CRM, diligently checking for any concerns such as duplicate telephone numbers, addresses, next of kin, and bank accounts.
