Our client a highly reputable Venison supplier based within the Highlands of Scotland is looking for Backshift Factory Operatives to join their team based in Ardgay.

This role is essential in supporting various operational tasks, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, possess a strong work ethic, and be willing to take on diverse responsibilities within a dynamic environment.

Working hours are usually carried out between 3pm - 10pm (flexible and could be subject to change depending on need of the business).

Main Duties:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workspaces and communal areas, including equipment
  • Replenishment of relevant supplies and cleaning equipment as and when necessary
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of the vans as they arrive at the site with fresh produce
  • Keep the loading/unloading areas clean and clear of any packaging/obstructions
  • Correct storage of incoming goods
  • some data entry when goods inward is being processed
  • Inform supervisors/manager of any issues with deliveries/paperwork etc

Please note this is a very physical role with a high degree of manual handling.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and clients
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Some basic computer skills beneficial and full system training will be given
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all tasks
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key
