Be Personnel is delighted to be supporting their highly reputable Maltings client who have been established since 1823 with their current recruitment needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Weighbride/Production Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be working across a variety operations, ensuring of smooth operations in the Reverse Osmosis Plant and the Weighbridge.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Working Monday to Friday 0930 - 1800 with potential for overtime please note this pattern may be subject to change after 6 months.

Responsibilities across both areas:

  • Day to day plant operations - running equipment, checking operating conditions, and collection of operating data
  • Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any discrepancies
  • Sampling & laboratory analysis
  • Liaising with management reporting any issues or concerns, as well as engineering staff
  • Waste management, arranging for skips and other waste removal when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the production process
  • Record keeping
  • Calibration and operation of weighbridge, carrying out despatch analysis of all loads
  • Preparation of Customs and Excise documentation

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously
  • PC literate - specifically MS Office Software
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
  • Sound knowledge of weighbridge equipment
  • Working knowledge of AX and Share point
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if required
  • Having some previous experience of grain transference, or within a production environment would be advantageous
