7.5 Tonne Driver (Holiday Cover)

£14.00 per hour basic £21.00 overtime after 40 hours per week.

Our client a successful insulation manufacturer and supplier is currently looking for a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join their team, from 14th April until 18th April.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations.

This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to road safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a thorough understanding of commercial driving practices.

Working the hours of 0900 - 1800 per day.

Duties:

• Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the transportation of goods.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Handle loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper securing of loads.
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a clean driving record.

Qualifications:

• Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles, Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
