Our client a long standing reputable family own bakery within the Highlands are currently looking for a van driver to join their team based within the Inverness area.

Working Monday - Saturday 0245am - 0830am (approx) daily making delivery of bakery items to stores within the Speyside area paying £14.43 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a van to deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition
• Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues or delays promptly
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while driving
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns

Requirements:

• Valid driving licence with experience as a delivery driver or van driver
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision
• A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for driving a van or flatbed vehicle
