Our client an Irish based food company with over 50 years experience serving international markets, restaurants and household foodservice names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend foodservice solutions and ready-for-market convenience foods, currently have vacancies within their Boning Hall for Skilled and Unskilled Operatives.

We are looking for Skilled operatives, however we will also consider applications from those from a Food Production back ground i.e. Fish processing, Temperature control and any other food production environment.

This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday

0600 - finish (minimum 40 hours per week) - Dayshift

1800 - 0300 - Nights

Main duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ability to identify individual vacuum - packed cuts of meat and placing them in to containers / boxes
  • Pick, pack, weigh, scan offal products (red and green offal)
  • Stock movement from one location to another ready for despatch
  • Sealing blue plastic bags on freezer line
  • Placing bags on Cryovac machine
  • Completion of tasks in a timely manner to meet daily targets
  • Maintain cleanliness within your work area
  • Adhere to food safety standards during all stages of food production
  • Perform prestart, hygiene and safety checks
  • Straightening pre pack bags on production line
  • Placing boxes / trays on correct pallets for customers orders
  • Participate in any training required
