£12.44 - £21.44 per hour

Our client an Irish based food company with over 50 years experience serving international markets, restaurants and household foodservice names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend foodservice solutions and ready-for-market convenience foods, currently have vacancies within their Boning Hall for Skilled Operatives.

This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday 0700 - finish (minimum 40 hours per week).

Main duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Performing Boning, Butchering, Trimming & Finishing tasks
  • Completion of tasks in a timely manner to meet daily targets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your work area
  • Adhere to food safety standards during all stages of food production
  • Perform prestart, hygiene and safety checks
  • Store and maintain tools and equipment to company standard
  • Participate in any training required

Attributes, Skills and Experience:

  • Competence and experienced in Butchery essential
  • Commitment to company values, team relations
  • Display a passion for food, and the process of where our food comes from
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is desirable
  • Comfortable working in a Chilled environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food production setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills/new skills
  • Communicate well across both written and orally
