Meat Processing Assistant (BE10640) - Bonar Bridge

Our client a successful family-run business, boasting over 40 years of trade within the industry is currently looking for a Processing Assistant, based in Ardgay.

Transport would be available from Alness, and along the route to site.

The working hours would be 0700 - 1630 Monday to Friday, this position will start mid-September running until the end of February 2025, we will also be looking for additional support for a 6 week period of October/November.

Main Duties (may not be limited to):

• Assist in the processing of food products according to company standard
• Cutting, Trimming, boning, Tying and Grinding of meats under the guidance of a skilled team member
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
• Store all goods into the correct designated areas
• Conduct quality checks on processed items
• Ensure your work space is kept sanitary in accordance with H & S regulations

No previous experience necessary as full training will be provided, however there are some key attributed preferred for this role as outlined below.

Experience/Attributes:

• Experience in food production is advantageous
• Understanding of food safety practices and regulations again advantageous but not essential
• Show a willingness to learn, grow and develop your skillset
• Ability to work within a fast paced environment
• Attention to details, and can work to a high standard
• Punctual and reliable

This position is due to start Mid-September and will continue for the right person until the end of February 2025, however, our client is always also looking for talented individuals to join their team on a permanent basis.
