Dispatch Operative (BE10690) - Ardgay

Our client a successful family-run business, boasting over 40 years of trade within the industry is currently looking for a Processing Assistant, based in Ardgay.

This position has an immediate start and will continue for the right person until the end of February 2025, however, our client is always also looking for talented individuals to join their team on a permanent basis.

Transport is available from the Dornoch - Tain area to and from the site.

The working hours would be 0700 - 1630 Monday to Friday.

Main Duties (may not be limited to):

• Assist in the processing of food products according to company standard
• Packing and ensuring packages are ready for dispatch, loading onto pallets/lorries
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
• Store all goods into the correct designated areas
• Conduct quality checks on processed items
• Ensure your work space is kept sanitary in accordance with H & S regulations

Experience/Attributes:

• Physically able with abilities to lift 20KG
• Understanding of food safety practices and regulations again advantageous but not essential
• Show a willingness to learn, grow and develop your skillset
• Ability to work within a fast paced environment
• Attention to details, and can work to a high standard
• Punctual and reliable
