Senior Mechanical Engineer (BE10628) - Nairn

Our client based in Nairn is currently looking for a fulltime skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading mechanical design projects, ensuring the quality and functionality of products, and providing technical expertise in various engineering aspects.

Main Duties would include (not limited to):

• Working on continuous Improvement measures
• Improve maintenance efficiencies including LEAN principles
• Hold regular discussion with all staff, and those concerned to ensure of process effectiveness
• Regular feedback on production
• Working to achieve all Health & Safety standards
• Checking and authorizing of timesheets
• Parts ordering
• Oversee staffing, work ethics and recognise any improvement's that could be made
• Organise staff training
• Maintenance planning

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required:

• HNC/HND/C&G or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
• Hydraulic maintenance experience
• Hose Assembly experience (not essential however desirable)
• Having worked with heavy duty machinery, operation and repair
• Comfortable in using a PC and can pick up varied programs quickly
• Ability to follow PPM Schedules
• Management and supervisory experienced
