Business Development Consultant (BE10611) - Inverness

Be Personnel, a well-established recruitment business based in Inverness, has an opportunity available for a Business Development Consultant to join our team on a fulltime, permanent contract basis.

You will be a key player within the team, conducting new business development activity in order to continue to increase Be Personnel’s Client base across the Highlands and North East of Scotland, while supporting the recruitment team during peak periods and annual leave to fulfil Client requirements.

You will work full time hours set between Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm however flexibility will be essential at times out with this.

As a Business Development Consultant your role will involve:

• Research and identify new business opportunities
• Conduct new business development activity via telephone to book meetings
• Attend meetings with prospect Clients alongside Recruitment Manager or Managing Director
• Providing quotes and negotiating terms of business
• Ensuring all new Client documentation is completed
• Onboarding new vacancies to ensure the recruitment team have a full understanding of requirements
• Conducting service review visits
• Attending networking events
• Participating in tender activity

The ideal Business Development Consultant will:

• Have demonstrable success of working within a B2B new business sales sole
• Ideally have a background within recruitment or alternatively, food processing, manufacturing or logistics
• Be personable, with a consultative approach
• Have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Be commercially aware with excellent negotiation skills
• Have an excellent eye for detail and quality
• Be computer literate including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Be a driver with their own transport
