We at Be Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Leader to join us here at client's site in Errol, a leading crisps manufacturer.

You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers during assigned shift
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards, making adjustments as needed to optimise efficiency
• Train, coach and motivate team members to achieve performance targets and create a culture of continuous improvement
• Monitor production processes and equipment to identify and address any issues or deviations from established procedures
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures and promoting a culture of safety awareness
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to resolve production related issues and improve overall performance
• Complete shift reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Skills required:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or production environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Excellent problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes and quality control principles
• Must have flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends.
• Must be able to drive with their own transport due to our location

Shift Pattern Options:

• Day Shift - 5:45am-2pm
• Back Shift 1:45pm-10pm
