Job description

Our client one of Scotland's leading roads maintenance and management companies currently have a need for additional Bridge Maintenance Operatives working on the Forth Road Bridge Queensferry.

The main purpose of this role will be to carry out cyclic maintenance routines, and assisting trade teams with daily tasks such as access installation, bridge repair and maintenance tasks, dropping off /collection of materials to suppliers as required.

Working a minimum 40 hours per week, initially for a 6 month period, PPE provided.

Main Duties (not limited to):

• Perform minor repairs on equipment, fixtures, and buildings
• Assisting multiple trades on site
• Drive company vehicles for maintenance-related tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs

Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience & qualification in maintenance or a related field
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and vendors
• Valid driver's licence for driving company vehicles
• Work at height and Confined spaces

Having Power Tool or Telehandler experience or certificates would be beneficial although not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £12.85-£19.28 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
