Description

Our client a successful and well known family bakery within the Highlands are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and production of baked goods in a fast-paced bakery environment.

We have 2 x Day shift positions available working 0800 - 1630 Monday to Friday with potential for overtime & Saturday AM hours.

Main duties (not limited to):

Assist in baking and cooking various bakery items following recipes and guidelines
Prepare ingredients for baking, including measuring, mixing, and portioning
Slicing of bread ready for packing
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas
Adhere to food safety standards and procedures to ensure quality products

The ideal candidate should:

Have some experience within a similar environment (not essential) full training will be given
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Have some previous experience of working a nightshift
