Our Client's facility in Ulverston, Cumbria has an exciting opportunity available for Beach Site Workers to join their Oyster Farm Team team on a temp to perm basis. You will be grading shellfish, harvesting shellfish using designated equipment, assisting with transporting shellfish to designated areas, cleaning and house keeping duties throughout the site and performing routine maintenance tasks of vehicles and equipment. The role will involve working outside in all types of weather conditions, as well as inside the site's Oyster Farm Centre.

As a beach site worker will benefit from:

• £12.10 per hour( from 1st April 2024)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x basic rate for hours worked over 40 hours week

The ideal candidates will have:

• Strong background in a similar environment such as aquaculture with transferable related skills and qualifications preferable
• Full driving license essential
• Highly reliable
• Self motivated
• Flexibility for shifts, occasional weekend working plus some early starts as and when required
• Able to work well within a small, focused team

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30 with occasional weekend working.
