Be Personnel are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator on behalf of our client, the world's largest Atlantic salmon producer, based in Rosyth, Fife. This is a temporary 6-week contract with the potential to extend, working within a modern Supply Chain and Logistics environment.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

The successful candidate will be based within the Logistics and Procurement Administration team at their state-of-the-art facility, reporting to the Supply Chain Coordinator. This role will support procurement activities, supplier coordination, order management, and logistics administration to ensure the smooth flow of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery, ensuring accurate processing and timely completion.

• Track orders and supplier deliveries, providing updates and resolving any delays or discrepancies.

• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite shipments and address supply issues.

• Prepare and maintain procurement and shipping documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery records.

• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, customers, orders, and procurement activities.

• Monitor product availability and support shipment planning based on customer requirements.

• Complete data entry and maintain current procurement and logistics reports.

• Create new reports as required by the business.

• Support claims investigations and resolve supply-related issues.

• Track transportation costs and assist with cost monitoring.

• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics providers to support efficient supply chain operations.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Procurement Administration, Purchasing Administration, Logistics Administration, or a similar role.

• Experience managing purchase orders and working with suppliers.

• Knowledge of procurement processes, logistics software, ERP systems, or transport management systems.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel experience and training.

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
