Butchery Operative (BE765) - Isle Of Mull

Our client a community owned business is currently looking for a fulltime Butcher/Slaughter Person to join their team on the Isle Of Mull.

Temporary accommodation will be available for the successful candidate allowing for time to source your own long term residence.

The Slaughterhouse currently provides 100% of all the slaughtering and butchery needs for the Isle of Mull and surrounding local area, in addition they also run a small retail outlet selling a wide variety of meats and other produce.

Main Duties:

• Preparing meats to customer specifications
• Working within the small shop serving customers

Experience and Skills:

• At least 1 year previous experience within a similar role
• Very high level of Knife skills
• Enthusiasm for the industry and to progress
• Slaughter licence would be beneficial although not essential as option to gain this funded by the client will be offered

Due to location the successful candidate must have their driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The rate will range between £12.00 - £15.00 per hour based on experience
