Our client, a family run leading supplier in fresh, smoked, exotic and frozen seafood have immediate opportunities available for Food Production Operatives to join their fast-paced team in Musselburgh.

Working within the haddock department, the Production Operatives will:

  • Have previous experience within a Food Production or Manufacturing environment
  • Have a degree of physical capability, as there will be as aspect of manual handling
  • Be comfortable working within a lightly chilled environment
  • Have a good level of English in both spoken and understanding due to inductions and safety procedures
  • Be enthusiastic, with a "can do" attitude

Due to Social Distancing rules our client is operating 2 shifts patterns to ensure these rules can be maintained, with this having your own transport is desirable.

Shifts are as follows:

  • 4am - 12.45pm
  • 1.15pm - 10pm

The successful candidates will be offered a pay rate in line with the National Minimum Wage plus an overtime rate of 1.25x for hours worked over 42.5 per week.

While the Production Operatives will initially work on a temporary, on-going (full-time) basis, providing standards are met, there may be opportunity for positions to become permanent
