Senior Project Manager (BE326) - Dundee

Our Client, a New Zealand owned company with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Dundee, undertakes manufacturing for Global and Local organisations specialising in Animal Health products.

An existing opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join this fast-growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working with the Project Sponsor, Client & Team to develop timelines and resource requirement estimates for projects, the Project will be responsible for although no limited too:

• Working with Project Sponsor & other key stakeholders to develop project plans including timelines and assessment of resource needs
• Preparing detailed project plan identifying milestones in collaboration with the project team
• Gaining acceptance of plan by negotiation with project team
• Negotiating with key stakeholders to gain acceptance of plan, timelines and resource commitments
• Liaising with Project Team to ensure that they have regular updates, all questions/concerns are addressed and any changes in project scope are identified and addressed
• Work with Project Team to monitor progress against plan
• Flagging discrepancies / delays and works with departmental managers to develop remedial actions
• Identifying achievement of milestones, reports resource constraints
• Proactively addressing issues that may impede project progress
• Engaging and managing project requirements with site Validation Group including FAT, IQ, OQ, PQ
• Engaging with Quality group in terms of Change Control initiation, action generation and closure plus external vendors in specification writing, procurement, drafting and engineering solutions
• Participating in company based and international cross functional teams and projects
  

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline, Engineering, Production
• A Project Management qualification preferred e.g. PMP certification etc. NBOSH General, Certificate IOSH Managing Safely
• Previous experience working in a similar role managing large scale projects
• Have previous experience working in Pharmaceutical and/or Animal Health or technical experience and knowledge
• Be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Project or similar
• Have strong verbal, written communication skills
• Have high energy and be committed to driving company values
