Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Stock Administrator will work on a night shift basis, being responsible for counting and execution of the sites stock control and related site processes to meet agreed objectives.

This role involves stock counting, reporting and data entry to both the sites system and into MS Excel, sending out daily stock reports to all departments within the site including the senior management teams. Creating Variance reports and investigating reasons for variances, as well as reporting information to Management & Senior Team are key elements of the role.

The ideal Stock Administrator will:

  • Have previous experience of working in a stock/inventory role in a supply chain operation, with overview knowledge of warehouse stock systems and processes
  • Be numerate and methodical in their working method
  • Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate any issues or concerns at all levels
  • Be a competent user of MS Excel, Word, Outlook & Power Point (knowledge of Infor (M3) would also be desirable, however full training will be provided)
  • Be able to work under limited supervision and be a strong team player, aware of individual impact and contribution to the business
  • Be able to work under pressure, in a fast moving and demanding environment


The successful Stock Administrator will benefit from:

  • A competitive standard pay rate of £9.71 per hour
  • An additional shift allowance of £1 per hour on night shift
  • Overtime paid at x 1.5 standard rate
  • Full time working hours, initially on an agency contract however providing standards are met, this position does have the opportunity to become permanent

Please note that shifts can vary due to business needs therefore it is essential that all candidates are flexible and also able to work overtime.
