Our Client is one of the largest seafood companies in the world, employing over 14, 000 staff and spread over 25 different countries. Several opportunities are available within their Production and Hygiene departments at their state-of-the-art head office (UK) facility in Rosyth.

Both positions will involve working in a fast-paced environment, with the Production Operatives working on a line to prepare Smoked, Infused and Fresh Salmon to customer specification and the Hygiene Operatives ensuring that all areas are kept clean, with hygiene standards maintained at all times.

A variety of shifts are available dependent on the role:

  • Production Operatives – Shifts are set between 6.00am to 10.00pm between Monday to Saturday, with occasional Sunday work.
  • Hygiene Operatives – Work on a 3 on – 2 off and 2 off – 3 on rota, working 12 hour shifts. Day shift is available between 6.30am to 6.30pm or Night shift 6.30pm to 6.30am.

Shifts can vary due to business needs therefore it is essential that all candidates are flexible and also able to work overtime.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Ideally have experience of working within a manufacturing or processing environment, however candidates who have manual work experience from within other industries will be considered as training will be provided
  • Have a minimum of 1 years food production experience
  • Have good written skills if applying for a Hygiene role, as there will be a requirement to maintain written records
  • Be reliable and punctual with an excellent work ethic
  • Have a degree of physical capability due to the manual nature of the work

Successful candidates will benefit from:

  • A competitive standard pay rate of £8.74 per hour (day shift) or £9.11 per hour (night shift)
  • An additional shift allowance of £1 per hour on night shift
  • Overtime paid at x 1.5 standard rate
