Our client an independent family owned Fuel Distribution company, who also boast many retail/fuel outlets across Scotland are looking for a Service Station Manager to join their team based within the Evanton area.

This is a fulltime position working 40 hours per week (with flexibility for additional hours)

The main purpose of this role is ensuring of an efficient daily running of the site & team members whilst upholding a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities/Duties (not limited to):

  • Daily banking
  • Stock management/stock ordering
  • Planning of rotas, to ensure holidays are covered and staffing levels are appropriate on a daily basis
  • Staff training & discipline (leading by example)
  • Health & Safety
  • Customer service including; complaints, queries & feedback
  • Back office administration
  • Conducting audits of equipment, facilities and overall performance

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have experience within a customer service management role, within Retail or Hospitality
  • Demonstrate leadership, & team management skills
  • Have very strong communications skills & interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work additional hours due to business requirements
  • Some computer literacy

The successful candidate will work initially on a temporary basis for a period of 12 week, when providing all standards have been met will a permanent contract be offered.

Salary negotiable based on experience
