Our Client, a successful business that aims to source, process and supply the finest Scottish smoked salmon and seafood to customers around the world, has a current vacancy for a Quality Manager (Food Processing ) to join their team based in Buckie.
This position will be responsible for managing and being accountable for the implementation of the quality management system on site, ensuring the safety, legality and quality of the product in line with statutory and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):

Ideally be degree qualified in a relevant scientific discipline.
Have excellent people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the business.
Hold knowledge of Technical Systems - factory policies, procedures, work instructions and records
Have a detailed understanding of BRC and retailer requirements, particularly M&S
Internal auditor training
Food hygiene training
Food manufacturing related experience in high care environment ideal but not essential
Excellent IT skills
