Full Time and Permanent

Starting rate of up to £10.60 per hour

Our client a family owned award winning business, now in their 4th generation of trading are currently looking for 1 - 2 Production Assistants joining their well established team in Stromness.

Main Duties (not limited to):

• Working across the complete production process
• Mixing, forming and baking of Oatcakes
• Packing orders
• Labelling and completing relevant paperwork
• Keeping production area clean and tidy

Skills and Attributes:

• Some previous relevant experience beneficial although not essential (full training is given)
• Flexible with working hours as Overtime may be expected
• Work well in a team as well as being able to work on own initiative
• Used to or happy to be working on their feet throughout the shift

Starting hourly rate of up to £10.60 per hour, however this would then be reviewed following successful completion of the 12 week training period with the view to an increase to reflect this.

Our client potentially will have some affordable accommodation available (September) for those who may be looking to re-locate to the area.

Fulltime position working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
