Production Manager (BE10281) - Stromness

Our client a family owned award winning business, now in their 4th generation of trading are currently looking for a Production Manager to oversee all production operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s products are made to specifications and delivered on time.

This position will also involve supervising staff, ensuring quality standards are being met and that production runs are running smoothly. You will work closely with the head of production and other senior managers.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager within a similar environment
• Understanding of health and safety regulations (preferred)
• Experience of managing performance, managing training, motivation and leading a team
• Good communication skills (written & oral) required
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail required
• Proficient in MS Office programs including Excel, Word & Outlook (beneficial)

This is a permanent fulltime position, working Monday to Friday approx. 40 hours per week based around the hours of 0700 - 1700
