Our Client is one of the largest seafood producers in the world and the largest producer of Atlantic Salmon. Due to continued growth, several opportunities are available within their Production and Hygiene departments at their state-of-the-art facility in Rosyth, a town which is a short 30-minute drive from Edinburgh airport and close to all the amenities that the Scottish Capital has to offer.

Both positions will involve working in a fast-paced environment, with the Production Operatives working on a line to prepare Smoked, Infused and Fresh Salmon to customer specification and the Hygiene Operatives ensuring that all areas are kept clean, with hygiene standards maintained.

A variety of shifts are available dependent on role:

  • Production Operatives – Shifts are set between 6am to 10pm between Monday to Saturday, with occasional Sunday work.
  • Hygiene Operatives – Work on a 3 on – 2 off and 2 off – 3 on rota, working 12 hour shifts. Day shift is available between 6am to 6pm or Nightshift 6pm to 6am.

Shifts do vary due to business needs therefore it is essential that candidates are flexible and also able to work overtime.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Ideally have experience of working within a manufacturing or processing environment, however candidates who have manual work experience from within other industries will be considered as training will be provided
  • Have good written skills if applying for a Hygiene role, as there will be a requirement to maintain written records
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure and on own initiative
  • Be reliable and punctual with an excellent work ethic
  • Have a degree of physical capability due to the manual nature of the work

  • A competitive standard pay rate of £8.74 per hour (day shift) or £9.11 per hour (night shift)
  • An additional shift allowance of £1 per hour on night shift
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x standard rate
